Scientex Bhd, a packaging manufacturer and property developer, is building its seventh township on a 388.5-hectare plot of land in Tebrau, Johor Bahru, which it has proposed to buy for RM518.1 million.
The approximately 960 acres of freehold land is located in Mukim of Tebrau, district of Johor Bahru and registered for agricultural use. It is currently home to matured oil palm trees.
The proposed land acquisition, will be subject to approval by the Estate Land Board and the Economic Planning Unit of the Prime Minister’s Department of Malaysia.
